You’re looking at a significant increase over multiple years. It means you have hyper competition to get into law school.

Mike Spivey, law school admissions consultant with Spivey Consulting, in comments given to Reuters, concerning the increasingly competitive law school admissions landscape. The number of law school applicants rose 8% this year, following an 18% surge the year before. According to the Law School Admission Council, 82,484 people applied to ABA-accredited law schools this year, the largest applicant pool since the Great Recession.
